Dreams FC held Accra Hearts of Oak to a frustrating 0-0 draw at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon in the Ghana Premier League Matchday 5 encounter.
The game produced few clear-cut opportunities, with both sides struggling to find the decisive touch in front of goal despite creating chances at different stages of the match.
Hearts of Oak came into the fixture determined to bounce back from their painful 1-0 defeat to Karela United, with expectations high for a return to winning ways. However, Dreams FC remained resolute and defended well to deny the Phobians all three points.
Hearts of Oak created some decent opportunities, particularly in the second half, but failed to convert their chances as Dreams FC held firm until the final whistle.
The result means Hearts of Oak have now gone three consecutive matches without a win, leaving them with eight points from their opening five games.
For Dreams FC, the wait for their first victory of the season continues. The draw leaves them with just two points from five matches, keeping them at the bottom of the league table.
Hearts of Oak will look to return to winning ways in Matchweek 6 when they face Port City, while Dreams FC travel to Tamale to take on Karela United.
