2026/27 GPLWK7: Asmah Strikes Late to Hand Hearts of Oak Win Over Vision FC

Accra Hearts of Oak claimed a crucial 1-0 victory over Vision FC in Matchweek Seven of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League, thanks to a late strike from Kwasi Asmah.

With the contest seemingly heading towards a goalless draw, Asmah stepped up in the 86th minute to break Vision FC’s resistance and hand the Phobians a decisive advantage.

The late goal proved to be the difference between the sides, as Hearts of Oak held firm in the closing stages to secure all three points.

The victory offers Hearts a timely boost as they seek to build momentum in the league, while Vision FC will rue their inability to maintain their defensive discipline until the final whistle.
